(Surg.) A forceps or instrument for extracting substances.

(b)

(Breech-loading Firearms) A device for withdrawing a cartridge or spent cartridge shell from the chamber of the barrel.

(Apiculture) A machine for clearing combs of honey; also, a device for rendering wax.
