To place lard or bacon amongst; to mix, as fat meat with lean. (Obs.) "Whose grain doth rise in flakes, with fatness interlarded."

Hence: To insert between; to mix or mingle; especially, to introduce that which is foreign or irrelevant; as, to interlard a conversation with oaths or allusions. "The English laws...
